Experiences informing my work practice

  • 20+ years working with women survivors who are suffering the post-traumatic impact of domestic and sexual violence
  • 8 years experience of therapeutic group work with women in the community and prisons.
  • 5 years experience of working with women in prisons affected by multiple disadvantages including domestic and sexual violence, substance misuse and mental health problems.
  • 10 years experience of working with children and young people as a youth worker and manager.
  • 18 months experience of working with primary aged children using Play Therapy in school settings.
